We believe in one God who consists of three persons in one being: God as the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. God is the Creator and ruler of all things.

In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. -GENESIS 1:1

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. -JOHN 1:1

And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Counselor to be with you forever— the Spirit of truth. The world cannot accept him, because it neither sees him nor knows him. But you know him, for he lives with you and will be in you. -JOHN 14:16-17

I and the Father are one. -JOHN 10:30

We believe that Jesus Christ is God’s one and only Son, who died for our sins and rose from the dead.

Now, brothers, I want to remind you of the gospel I preached to you, which you received and on which you have taken your stand. By this gospel you are saved, if you hold firmly to the word I preached to you. Otherwise, you have believed in vain. For what I received I passed on to you as of first importance: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures. -1 CORINTHIANS 15:1-4

For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. -JOHN 3:16

We believe the Holy Spirit is an active and operative part of the triune God and indwells every Christian for the purpose of leading, guiding, and directing them to live a life that glorifies God.

But I tell you the truth: It is for your good that I am going away. Unless I go away, the Counselor will not come to you; but if I go, I will send him to you. When he comes, he will convict the world of guilt in regard to sin and righteousness and judgment: in regard to sin, because men do not believe in me; in regard to righteousness, because I am going to the Father, where you can see me no longer; and in regard to judgment, because the prince of this world now stands condemned. I have much more to say to you, more than you can now bear. But when he, the Spirit of truth, comes, he will guide you into all truth. He will not speak on his own; he will speak only what he hears, and he will tell you what is yet to come. -JOHN 16:7-13

He said to them: “It is not for you to know the times or dates the Father has set by his own authority. But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.” -ACTS 1:7-8

In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groans that words cannot express. And he who searches our hearts knows the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for the saints in accordance with God’s will. -ROMANS 8:26-27

We believe the Gospel plan of salvation as taught in the New Testament is:

FAITH

Believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of the Living God and our personal Savior.

And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him. (Hebrews 11:6)

REPENTANCE

Repent of all past sins and turn from them.

Repent, then, and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped out, that times of refreshing may come from the Lord. (Acts 3:19)

CONFESSION

Confess before man that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of the living God.

That if you confess with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. (Romans 10:9)

BAPTISM

Be immersed in water in obedience to the Word, thereby being buried with Christ so that we may clothe ourselves with Christ and rise to walk in the newness of life.

“God has made this Jesus, whom you crucified, both Lord and Christ.” When the people heard this, they were cut to the heart and said to Peter and the other apostles, “Brothers, what shall we do?” Peter replied, “Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.” (Acts 2:36b-38)

FAITHFULNESS

Be faithful to Christ, His Church, and His teaching for our daily living until He calls us home to be with Him.

For God did not call us to be impure, but to live a holy life. (1 Thessalonians 4:7)

We believe that both the Old Testament and New Testament are the inspired Word of God and are profitable for doctrine, reproof, correction, and instruction in righteousness and the authoritative rule of faith and practice for the church today.

But as for you, continue in what you have learned and have become convinced of, because you know those from whom you learned it, and how from infancy you have known the holy Scriptures, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus. All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness. (2 Timothy 3:14-16)

We believe that the Church is the body of Christ on earth. It is empowered by the Holy Spirit and consists of people who follow Jesus Christ through discipleship and prayer as they reach out to the lost.

They devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching and to the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer. Everyone was filled with awe, and many wonders and miraculous signs were done by the apostles. All the believers were together and had everything in common. Selling their possessions and goods, they gave to anyone as he had need. Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts, praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people. And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved. (Acts 2:42-47)

It was he who gave some to be apostles, some to be prophets, some to be evangelists, and some to be pastors and teachers, to prepare God's people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ. (Ephesians 4:9-13)

We believe that every person has a sinful nature and has fallen short of the glory of God. Therefore, they need an intercessor, Jesus Christ, to atone for their sin before God.

...for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. (Romans 3:23)

Therefore, since we have a great high priest who has gone through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold firmly to the faith we profess. For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but we have one who has been tempted in every way, just as we are—yet was without sin. Let us then approach the throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need. (Hebrews 4:14-16)

We believe that Jesus Christ will one day come back for His faithful followers on the Day of Judgment and reign forever as the King of Kings.

Brothers, we do not want you to be ignorant about those who fall asleep, or to grieve like the rest of men, who have no hope. We believe that Jesus died and rose again and so we believe that God will bring with Jesus those who have fallen asleep in him. According to the Lord's own word, we tell you that we who are still alive, who are left till the coming of the Lord, will certainly not precede those who have fallen asleep. For the Lord himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever. Therefore encourage each other with these words. (1 Thessalonians 4:13-18)

As a weekly testimony to Christ, we offer each Christian the opportunity to reflect on their personal walk with Christ and accept His invitation to partake of the Lord’s Supper.

For I received from the Lord that which I also delivered to you: that the Lord Jesus on the same night in which He was betrayed took bread; and when He had given thanks, He broke it and said, “Take, eat; this is My body which is broken for you; do this in remembrance of Me.” In the same manner He also took the cup after supper, saying, “This cup is the new covenant in My blood. This do, as often as you drink it, in remembrance of Me.” For as often as you eat this bread and drink this cup, you proclaim the Lord’s death till He comes. (1 Corinthians 11:23-36)
